STUDY ABROAD COSTA RICA 2017

TENTATIVE Itinerary*

Please bring your Student ID card!!!

**All hotels will have two double beds for 3- or 4- people occupancy.

*** Students are expected to behave in a proper manner at all times in Costa Rica. Remember you are part of the program 24/7. Students should KEEP THE NOISE level down, while they are at hotels.

The following is 2017 tentative itinerary, it is not final, but just a sample itinerary! Companies can vary and number of days in each place can also change.

*This itinerary is subject to change. All lectures correspond to 60 hour academic class time. Students are expected to do readings/assignments outside of those meetings times.

*** We are representing the College of Charleston every minute we are in Costa Rica. Hotels and companies, and any people/agency we get in contact with, expect us to act responsibly. We need to sign a "Behavior Contract".

TOURS ARE OPTIONAL, SINCE THEY ARE NOT OFFICIALLY PART OF THE PROGRAM. YOU MUST NOTIFY THE PROFESSORS IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THE TOURS SO THEY MODIFY RESERVATIONS.

OPTIONAL TOURS WILL BE GUIDED WITH A LOCAL TRAVEL AGENT. YOU SHOULD ACT IN A RESPONSIBLE WAY AT ALL TIMES AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY THE TOUR GUIDE. SOME TOURS WILL NOT BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE PROFESSORS AS THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE PROGRAM.
